  9. This is what happens when I get bored and decide to make
  10. things up.  They're chewy and very rich -- Enjoy!

  12. "EVERYTHING BUT THE KITCHEN SINK" COOKIES
  13.  
  14. 2 1/3 cups flour
  15. 1 tsp salt
  16. 1 tsp baking soda
  17. 1 cup butter
  18. 2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  19. 2 eggs
  20. 2 tsp vanilla
  21. 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  22. 1 cup vanilla chips
  23. 1/2 cup butterscotch chips (because that's all I had left)
  24. 1 cup pecans (chopped or not, doesn't matter)
  25. 2 cups oats (quick or old fashioned)
  26. and, anything else you have laying around.

  28. Mix butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla.  Beat until smooth.

  30. Stir in everything else.

  32. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
  33. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet before removing to paper towels.
